Itinerary

After arrival at NJP/IXB/Siliguri, meet with our company representative and then drive to Darjeeling (70 km., 3 hr., 6,700 ft.). On the way you will see the charming hill station of Kurseong, a hidden gem nestled amidst the verdant hills of West Bengal. When you will cross the Kurseong (4,950 ft.), you will witness the lush pine forests, green valleys carpeted with tea gardens stretch as far as the eye can see. 3 hr. later you will reach at Darjeeling, After arrival at Darjeeling check-in at hotel & get fresh. After lunch you can visit Chowrasta, main market of Darjeeling, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere, go for some shopping or taste some delicious local cuisine. Night stay at Darjeeling in a hotel.

Early morning at 4 am go for excursion to Tiger Hill (12 km., 8,500 ft., 1 hr.), to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the world's third highest peak Mt. Kanchenjunga and its mountain range. During the sunrise the snow of Mt. Kanchenjungha mountain range transforms into molten gold, the surrounding valleys awaken with a blush of pink, and the mist dances a captivating ballet in the air. After capture the panoramic vistas from the Tiger hill you can hike through the pine forest at nearby Observatory Hill, to feel the crisp mountain air fill your lungs. Otherwise you will be headed towards Batasia Loop war memorial. The loop is not just a marvel of engineering, it's a memorial dedicated to the Gorkha soldiers who laid down their lives in various military operations after India's independence. This place also offers stunning views of the valley below. Here you can enjoy the serenity of the gardens and soak in the breathtaking panorama. Then you will visit Ghum Monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, perched on a hilltop offers stunning views and glimpse into the region’s spiritual heritage. Here you can get an unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Tibetan culture and spirituality and witness colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind and the peaceful chanting of monks. Then you will be back to the hotel. After breakfast go for full day Darjeeling local sightseeing. You will start your local sightseeing from Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, to explore a treasure trove of artifacts, from climbing gear to historical photographs and embark on a journey through the golden age of Himalayan exploration. Here you can do rock climbing at Tenzing or Gombu Rock to face your fears and to discover your strength. Then you will wander through the enchanting Botanical Garden, home to a diverse collection of flora and fauna. Visiting these two Darjeeling landmarks isn't just about ticking boxes, it's about engaging with a world of wonder and inspiration. Then you will visit at the iconic Japanese Peace Pagoda, to seek serenity at this Japanese-style Buddhist temple. Here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere. Then you will visit Happy Valley Tea Garden View Point, which offers stunning panoramas of rolling tea estates. After that you will be headed to the Ropeway to enjoy stunning views of the Darjeeling, and its nearby tea garden and valleys. After enjoying the breathtaking aerial view, you will visit Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, showcasing Tibetan handicrafts and culture. Stepping back in time to 1959, the year hundreds of Tibetans fleeing Chinese invasion found refuge in the lush embrace of Darjeeling. The Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, born from this displacement, become a beacon of hope and self-reliance. Then you will visit Bengal Natural History museum, to learn about the intricate web of life woven through the Eastern Himalayas. After completing the Darjeeling local sightseeing, you will be back to the hotel. After lunch you can visit Chowrasta. Night stay at Darjeeling in a hotel.

After breakfast go for a ride to the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train), a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers scenic views of the mountains and tea gardens. As the train departs, the rhythmic click-clack of the wheels on the narrow gauge track lulls you into a dreamy state. After the train ride you will go for a daytrip to the Lamahatta (25 km., 1 hr., 5,700 ft.), a quaint village nestled amidst lush greenery. Here you can hike through the pine forests, enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain valley and explore the Lamahatta Park. After completing the excursion, you will be back to the hotel. After lunch you can visit Chowrasta. Night stay at Darjeeling in a hotel. Additional Sightseeing : If you have an extra day at Darjeeling than you can visit Barbotey Rock Garden and Gangamaya Park, located about 10 km. from the city. It helps you to reconnect with nature and discover the hidden corners of Darjeeling.

After breakfast drop at NJP/IXB/Siliguri (70 km., 3 hr.).
