About this tour

Northeastern part of India, is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and diverse wildlife and Assam is also not any exception. This tour will take you on a journey to three of Assam’s most iconic wildlife sanctuaries : Kaziranga National Park, Manas National Park and Nameri National Park, each a unique haven for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
You will start from Manas National Park, which is located 140 km. from Guwahati, the state capital. Manas National Park is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the wilderness, encounter rare and endangered wildlife, and experience the unique cultural heritage of the region. Rise early and go for a thrilling jeep safari, keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Bengal tiger, the majestic Indian elephant, and lots of other mammals like the gaur (Indian bison), and the sambar deer.
Then you will travel to the last untamed jungles, sparkling rivers and a diverse array of flora and fauna, Nameri National Park. Rise with the sun and go for a thrilling jeep safari through the diverse landscapes of Nameri. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Bengal tiger, the majestic Indian elephant, and lots of other mammals like the clouded leopard, the gaur (Indian bison), and the hog deer. 
Then you will be headed to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famed for its unique ecosystem and the majestic one-horned rhinoceros, found nowhere else on earth. Go for an elephant safari or a jeep safari to explore the park’s diverse landscape, home to one-horned rhinos, tigers, elephants, and a plethora of birds.

Itinerary

After arrival at GHY/GAU/Guwahati, meet with our company representative and then drive to Manas National Park (140 km., 4 hr.), situated at the foothills of eastern Himalayas, in the banks of Manas River. The journey from Guwahati to Manas National Park will take you into the heart of Assam's wild grandeur. After you reach at Guwahati, the vibrant capital of Assam will quickly escape the cityscape and enter lush tea gardens unfurl like emerald carpets, stretches towards the horizon. On the way you will see quaint villages, adorned with brightly painted houses and bustling with local life. When you approach towards Manas National Park, the road becomes narrow and enveloped by dense forests. Manas National Park is bordered on its north by Royal Manas National Park in Bhutan and falls under multiple district of Assam. After reach at Manas National Park, check in at hotel & get fresh. After an early lunch go for your first wildlife encounter with an exhilarating Jeep safari in Manas National Park. Keep your eyes open for a glimpse of Indian One Horned Rhinoceros, Asiatic Elephants, Indian Tigers, Clouded Leopards, Hoolock Gibbons, Barking Deer and a plethora of birdlife. After the Jeep safari you will be back to the hotel. Night stay at Manas National Park in a hotel.

Early morning go for an Elephant ride through the semi evergreen and dry deciduous forest of Manas National Park, to catch a glimpse of your favorite wildlife from close range. Then you will be back to the hotel. After breakfast you can go for a hike through the jungle of Manas National Park. The route starts from Mathanguri Forest Lodge and follow the bank of Manas River. After going for some distance the hiking route follow a animal trail through dense forest. Manas National Park is a paradise for Bird watchers, which is home to over 450 species of birds including Indian Hornbills, Fishing Eagles, Falcon, Magpie Robins, Herons etc. So if you are lucky than you can get a glimpse of any of them during the hike. The hike will be accompanied by the armed forest guard for your safety. After completing the hike you can go for a river rafting on the Manas River. After completing these activity you will be transferred to the hotel. After lunch you can visit local market to buy some handicraft. Night stay at Manas National Park in a hotel.

After breakfast you will be transferred from Manas to Nameri National Park (250 km., 6 hr.), located in Sonitpur District, on the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. The road between Manas to Nameri National Park goes through diverse landscapes which offers glimpses of green hills, tea gardens and tropical forests. After a long journey, you will reach at Nameri National Park, which shares a common interstate boundary with Pakke Tiger Reserve of Arunachal Pradesh. The Jia Bharali River flows through Nameri National Park along with it’s tributaries. After arrival at Nameri National Park, check-in at your hotel & get fresh. After lunch go for a thrilling Jeep safari in Nameri National Park, in a hope to get a glimpse of Asian Elephants, Gaurs, Barking Deer, Sambars, Wild Dogs, Leopard, Clouded Leopard etc. After the Jeep safari back to your hotel. Night stay at Nameri National Park in a hotel.

Early morning go for an Elephant ride through the dense forest of Nameri National Park, to catch a glimpse of some wildlife from close range. Then you will be back to the hotel. After breakfast you can go for a hike through the jungle of Nameri National Park, which will be escorted by the armed forest guard for your safety. Nameri National park is a Bird watchers heaven, a home to over 360 species of birds including White Winged Wood Duck, Rufous Necked Hornbills, Lesser Fish Eagles etc. So you can get a glimpse of any of them during the hike. After completing the hike you can go for a river rafting on the Jia Bharali River, which is one of the major tributary of mighty Brahmaputra river. After completing the activity you will be transferred to the hotel. Night stay at Nameri National Park in a hotel.

After breakfast transfer from Nameri to Kaziranga National Park (100 km., 3 hr.), the crown jewel of the Northeast India, located on the edge of Eastern Himalayas, spread across the district of Nagaon and Golaghat in Assam state, famous for it’s population of the One Horned Rhinoceros. The road between Nameri and Kaziranga National Park goes through quaint villages, which offers glimpses into the local way of life. On the way you will cross the mighty Brahmaputra River by the historic Kolia Bhomora Bridge, a 3 km. long engineering marvel which also offers breathtaking panoramas. Then finally you will reach at Kaziranga National Park, a vast expense of tall elephant grass, marshlands and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests. After arrival at Kaziranga, check-in at hotel & get fresh. After lunch go for a wildlife encounter with a thrilling Jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, in a hope to get a glimpse of One Horned Rhinoceroses. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears tuned for the symphony of the jungle. During the Jeep safari you can spot Indian Elephants, Asiatic Wild Water Buffalo and Swamp Deer also, which has the highest density within India at Kaziranga National Park. This national park also has the highest population of one horned rhinoceros anywhere in the world. After completing the Jeep safari you can visit the local market, where you will find an array of handicrafts. Night stay at Kaziranga National Park in a hotel.

Early morning go for an Elephant ride through the lush evergreen grassland and forest of Kaziranga National Park, to catch a glimpse of your favorite wildlife from close range. Then you will be back to the hotel. After breakfast you can go for Another Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park, which is divided into four zone or range, called Central OR Kohora range, Western OR Bagori range, Eastern OR Agoratoli range, Burapahar range. So you can go for another Jeep safari in different ranges, to witness different kind of natural beauty. After completing the safari, you will be back to the hotel. After lunch you can visit local market. Night stay at Kaziranga National Park in a hotel.

After breakfast drop at GHY/GAU/Guwahati (230 km., 6 hr.).
